Each year, the Foundation funds physical therapy research through doctoral scholarships. 

The Foundation’s scholarship cycle is now open. The Foundation funds Promotion of Doctoral Studies I & II (PODS) Scholarships. PODS I Scholarships of $7,500 support the coursework phase of post-professional doctoral studies prior to candidacy. PODS II Scholarships of $15,000 support of the post-candidacy phase of post-professional doctoral studies. Applicants from all specialty areas are encouraged to apply.

Applicants can apply via the Foundation’s Grants Management program, Proposal Central. Instructions, guidelines, and important dates can be found on the Foundation’s website. We also encourage applicants to view Characteristics of Successful and Unsuccessful Applicants. The application deadline for all PODS scholarships is Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
