Foundation PODS Webinar: Stepping Stones Toward a Successful Research Career
December 27th, 2022 — The Foundation recently hosted an event to coincide with the opening of the 2023 PODS cycle. Foundation scholarships and fellowships are awarded using a rigorous peer review process modeled after the National Institutes of Health (NIH) that ensures that our funding supports the most promising physical therapy research. To help better prepare applicants for our funding application process, we hosted a free virtual event on December 15, 2022. In this Foundation webinar, researchers learned more about our Promotion of Doctoral Studies, or PODS, Scholarship application process and key strategies on how to submit an outstanding application in pursuit of research funding and support opportunities. The presenters for this webinar were past Foundation funding recipients, Chris Lane, PT, DPT, Emma H. Beisheim-Ryan, PT, DPT, PhD, and Julia Mazzarella, PT, DPT, PhD.
