Sponsored Awards
Sponsoring a Foundation award recipient is an opportunity to make a direct investment to help expand the cadre of physical Therapy researchers that support the profession and help to launch the career of promising young investigators.
As a Sponsor, you may opt to select a researcher based on their state, academy, institution, or research focus. You will receive regular updates about their work and can visit with them in their lab to learn first-hand about their work.
The recipient’s award may include recognition of your donation when announced and recognition in other Foundation communications. The impact of Sponsored Awards provides the Foundation with the ability to make more awards possible now and will give researchers the jumpstart they need to move forward to advance physical therapy.
Award programs you can choose from:
- Foundation NIFTI Fellowship Award: $120,000 over four years (supports one researcher over two years)
- Foundation Diversity NIFTI Fellowship Award: $120,000 over four years (supports one researcher over two years)
- Foundation PODS I Diversity Scholarship Award: $27,000 over two years (Makes three Scholarships possibles)
- Foundation PODS II Diversity Scholarship Award: $54,000 over two years (Makes three Scholarships possible)
- Foundation PODS I Scholarship Award: $27,000 over two years (Makes three Scholarships possibles)
- Foundation PODS II Scholarship Award: $54,000 over two years (Makes three Scholarships possible)
- Foundation [donor named] Grant Award: $145,000 over 2 years (Makes three $40k grants possible)
