Proceeds support the Marquette Challenge, which is the signature service project of Marquette Physical Therapy. Created in 1989 by students at Marquette, the Challenge is a grassroots fundraising effort in support of physical therapy research. Each year, hundreds of physical therapists (PT) and physical therapist assistant (PTA) students, led by Marquette students, hold fundraising events across the United States. To date, the Challenge has raised over $4.6 million and supported numerous research projects to advance the scientific basis for patient care.
