Physical therapy students at Regis University are holding their annual Move Forward 5k & 10k (in-person and virtually) on September 24, 2022. Proceeds from this event will benefit Canine Companions for Independence and the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research.

Experienced runners, casual runners and walkers, well-behaved on-leash dogs, and families are all welcome to participate in this event. Along with raising funds for the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research and Canine Companions for Independence, the Move Forward 5K/10K has a number of other goals. These goals include facilitating and encouraging physical activity within the community, as well as raising awareness regarding the role of physical therapists in health promotion and wellness. Through the efforts of Regis University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy students and their sponsors, we can make this event a race of choice for the Denver community while simultaneously raising funds to support critical research for rehabilitation and providing service dogs to individuals with disabilities.

Kids 12 years and under run for free with their registered parents and/or guardians on the same course for the 5k/10k races. Ages 13 and older, please register above. There is no age limit to participate!
