University of Findlay’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program students will host a virtual, donation-based wellness day on Saturday, Feb. 6.

The classes will be held in two sessions; 9-10 a.m. and 10:30-11:30 a.m. During the one-hour session, participants will be able to choose from two virtual 30-minute fitness classes – Zumba and Yoga – and two virtual 30-minute wellness educational sessions – Ergonomics and Daily Movement.

All proceeds from the monetary donation-based event will benefit the VCU-Marquette Challenge, a national student-led grassroots fundraiser to support the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research. The program will also provide physical therapy students with valuable hands-on learning.

The University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program offers a convenient 3+3 option which allows students to complete both the undergraduate and doctoral programs in six years; a traditional program in which transfer students and other UF students who have earned bachelor’s degrees can go on to earn their DPT; and a weekend option for current Physical Therapy Assistants to earn their DPT.
