Foundation Hosted Event Explores Estate Planning Considerations

The Foundation for Physical Therapy Research (FPTR) hosted a free, live event, “Estate Planning and Charitable Giving Strategies,” with FPTR CEO Barbara Malm, Physical Therapist Marilyn Moffat, and Financial Planner Nora Gieg Chatha, Esq. of Tucker Arensberg via Zoom on October 22, 2020.

Amidst the economic volatility, many donors are revisiting estate plans. Nora Gieg Chatha, Esq., discussed fundamental estate planning considerations, charitable ways of giving, and highlighted reasons for planning now instead of later. Marilyn Moffat, PT, DPT, PhD, FAPTA, shared her story about becoming a Legacy Society donor of FPTR. Legacy Society members are a special group of supporters who have made estate plans that include a commitment to FPTR.
