The University of Minnesota DPT program is springing (back) into action! After COVID prevented a 2020 and 2021 race, they are eager to hold the 5th annual Spring into Action 5K on Saturday April 30th, 2022. The day will include a 5K run/walk (or optional 2.5K walk), music, a prize drawing, and the chance to talk with current DPT students about running/recovery topics and more! Proceeds from this race go to the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research. Register today!

Race:  5K run/walk or optional 2.5K walk will take place at the Front Plaza of Coffman Memorial Union (Route, 2 loops is a 5K: Here). Registration is $15 online. Day of registration will also be accepted: $20 (cash or check). Free T-shirt with online registration by April 1st.

Timing: They will have a student timer who will record and recognize the top 3 male and female finishers. For remaining participants, this will be a self-timed race.

Parking: Nearest parking ramps are at East River Road Parking Garage, or the East River Flats (located on the south side of East River Road across from the entrance to the East River Road Garage).
