The 2024 workshop will be interprofessional with mentors and mentees from Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. The workshop provides guidance in developing robust and theoretically grounded programs of research, enhancing research design and conceptual and/or theoretical grounding; identifying “best-bet” funding sources; grant writing and budgeting; and creating intra-and inter-institutional collaborative research networks and projects.  The centerpiece of the workshop is one-on-one mentoring through small group sessions that provide the opportunity for participants to interact with a community of scholars (across health professions) and representatives from organizations that fund education research.  The value of this workshop lies in both group and individual mentoring that provides participants with identified next steps and resources to develop their educational research.
