A New Tradition
The 9th Annual Marymount 5K was a rousing success! A special thank you to all our runners for coming out and to our sponsors for supporting the Department of Physical Therapy’s annual service trip to Central America and the Foundation of Physical Therapy. The funds raised in 2024 will allow the team of students and faculty to update equipment in clinics, provide assistive devices to community members, and supply clinics and patients with educational materials. The team will be visiting a community hospital to develop an implementation plan for physical therapy. Additionally, they will set-up an outpatient clinic in a rural pharmacy, see pediatric patients and visit community members who need services in their homes.
