Foundation for Physical Therapy Service Awards Acceptance Videos

Earlier this year, the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research (FPTR) presented Service Awards to a select group of people and organizations for their unyielding support of FPTR and its mission to fund physical therapy research.

In the past, our Awards recipients were honored during our annual Awards Luncheon held in conjunction with the American Physical Therapy Association’s NEXT Conference. Unfortunately, COVID-19 has prevented us from thanking our recipients in person.

“While we regret not being able to celebrate our awardees, as we customarily do, for their dedication to the profession, our gratitude for their continued support knows no bounds,” said FPTR Chief Executive Officer, Barbara Malm, MBA.

The 2020 Service Award recipients are:

Recipient of the 2020 Charles M. Magistro Distinguished Service Award – named after FPTR’s first president and chair

Steve H. Tepper, PT, PhD, FAPTA
Recipient of the 2020 Spirit of Philanthropy Award
