Pittsburgh-Marquette Challenge

About the Challenge
The Marquette Challenge is an annual grassroots fundraising effort coordinated and carried out by physical therapist and physical therapist assistant students across the country to support the Foundation for Physical Therapy’s mission. Funds raised through the Marquette Challenge contribute to the rigorous and high quality peer-review process which results in the awarding of all Foundation scholarships and grants.
The Challenge is the Foundation’s signature annual fundraising initiative raising more funds each year than any other Foundation activity. Since its inception, 170 schools have participated in the Challenge, raising over $2.3 million for physical therapy research.
80 programs participated in the 2012-2013 Pittsburgh-Marquette Challenge. Click here to see if your school is on “The List” of contributors.
2012-2013 Awards
April 22, 2013 was the deadline for the Foundation to receive all Challenge donations for 2012-2013. The total raised for the Challenge will be announced on June 27 at the Foundation’s Gala in Salt Lake City. All winning schools will receive their recognition and awards at the Gala. The Foundation will also commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the Challenge.
