Among the sessions that will be held at the upcoming American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) 2020 Combined Sections Meeting (CSM) in Denver is one that is of particular interest to researchers.

Liz Jackson, the Senior Specialist of the Foundation’s Research and Grants Program, will be one of seven speakers at the session titled, RE-1762 – Research Funding Symposium, Part 1: A Conversation With Funding Agencies.

Session Description:

This session is the first of 2 sessions related to research funding for novice and experienced researchers. This first part of the symposium will focus on a discussion of various opportunities for research funding. This session will include representatives from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), other federal agencies, and foundations who will present the latest information on extramural research programs, current research initiatives, and opportunities for training and career development. A panel discussion and opportunities for one-to-one conversations will follow the individual presentations.
