About the Challenge
The Challenge is an annual grassroots fundraising effort coordinated and carried out by physical therapist and physical therapist assistant students across the country to support new investigators in the field of physical therapy research.
Now in its 30th year, students have raised more than $4 million for physical therapy research since the Challenge’s inception. Further, 269 schools have participated in the Challenge.

Get On The List!
How can you get involved in the Challenge? Your school can get on “The List” of participating schools by contributing any amount to the annual Challenge effort. Be sure to check out our Successful Fundraising Ideas to help you meet your goal! The Foundation accepts Challenge donations year-round. However, the deadline to participate in the 2017-2018 Mercer-Marquette Challenge is April 26th, 2018. Details of the 2018-2019 Challenge will be announced soon.
