Home Ways to Give Participate in the Marquette Challenge

Since 1989, physical therapy and physical therapy assistant students have been giving forward through the Marquette Challenge, one of the most powerful grassroots fundraising efforts for physical therapy research. This student-led initiative has raised over $5 million in support of physical therapy research.

The Challenge began at Marquette University with a simple but powerful idea: students supporting research to advance the profession they’re entering. Today, the Challenge continues to empower PT and PTA students across the country to champion evidence-based care by raising critical funds for the Foundation.
Funds raised through the Challenge help provide scholarships, fellowships, and research grants that strengthen our profession and improve patient care. The top fundraising school earns co-naming rights for the next year’s Marquette Challenge.
