Transition in Foundation for Physical Therapy Research Staff

After almost 9 years with the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research, FPTR Director of Development Erica Sadiq, CFRE, is departing from the role of Director of Development.

Sadiq began her work managing FPTR’s student-led Marquette Challenge and events. Most recently she has focused on overall fundraising and major and planned gifts. Along with the President’s Sustaining Fund, these programs account for the Foundation’s annual fundraising goals. In recent years Sadiq has stewarded the FPTR Legacy Society, which now includes more than 50 members.

“The importance of our donors cannot be overstated,” said Barbara Malm, FPTR CEO. “Erica’s contributions to the growth of our Legacy Society and student-led Challenge will create a strong foundation for years of physical therapy research funding to come. Though she will be greatly missed, we wish her the best in her future endeavors.”

Sadiq’s last day with FPTR will be Thursday, July 29, 2021.

“Working this closely with the physical therapy profession has been an honor,” said Sadiq. “The people that support the Foundation are truly giving back to the profession and to the people served by PT.”

FPTR values the supporters who make our work possible and will continue to support our donors during this transition.
