RSVP for the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research PT Party

The Foundation for Physical Therapy Research will celebrate our 40th anniversary at this year’s PT Party. However, all good things must come to an end. This will be the last PT Party hosted by the Foundation. Don’t miss your chance to send off this special celebration with our community of patrons and alumni!

The Foundation for Physical Therapy Research PT Party will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 7:30 pm to midnight at the Hilton Chicago. The event falls on the second day of the NEXT American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Conference and Exposition.

The PT Party is a must-attend event for NEXT attendees to celebrate, network, and support physical therapy research. This year’s PT Party is especially notable as it marks the 40th anniversary of the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research. To celebrate this milestone, we will share special throwback posts and articles through June celebrating the event’s long and exciting history as the PT Party and Foundation Gala. Additionally, the Foundation is setting a goal to raise $40,000 in honor of the anniversary. Help the Foundation reach this goal by making an additional donation with your ticket purchase.

This year marks another important milestone for the Foundation. It’s the last chance for NEXT conference-goers to attend the PT Party. The Foundation hosts several donor recognition events corresponding with APTA conferences throughout the year. As part of the Foundation’s newly-adopted three-year strategic plan, the organization is identifying new event opportunities to better connect the network of patrons, alumni and students while best stewarding the event donations that make research grants, scholarships, and fellowships possible.

We hope to see you at this year’s final event as we hold a special celebration of achievements that would not have been possible without you and our network of donors.

This year’s party will feature a return of the popular trivia contest as well as dinner, dancing, and dessert.
