Connect with leaders in the physical therapy profession and make the profession stronger by becoming a partner in research.

Physical therapy improves the quality of life and movement for people living with illness, injury, or the conditions associated with aging. Quality research is needed to deliver the best possible care, pioneer new treatments, and show the value of physical therapy to government agencies and health care payers.

The Foundation is an independent 501(c) (3) charitable organization governed by a Board of Trustees that funds physical therapy research through grants, scholarships, and fellowships.  The Foundation does not have members but rather relies on the donations of individuals, corporations and organizations to advance its mission.

United by common goals, our corporate donors benefit from opportunities to collaborate with the Foundation. Maximize your company’s exposure to the physical therapist community and thought-leaders in physical therapy by becoming a Foundation Partner.

The Foundation for Physical Therapy’s mission is to create a more mobile future by developing the next generation of physical therapy researchers.
