From time to time, the Foundation sits down with our donors and those whose lives have been impacted by physical therapy to learn about why supporting physical therapy research is important to them. Our donor family has long been dedicated to seeing the study of physical therapy grow. It drives their desire to want to sustain this profession. Below are some stories of why and how members came to the decision to donate to the Foundation of Physical Therapy. By reading their story, they hope to inspire others to also give back.

The American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT) recently announced a $250,000 pledge to establish an endowment fund within the Foundation for Physical Therapy to provide funding for grants and projects to investigate areas related to musculoskeletal disorders.
