VCU-Marquette Challenge Event Friday, 1:30pm to 2:30 pm

Students Give Forward
Join us at booth #1641 on Friday, February 4, from 1:30-2:30 p.m. for a special event to connect PT and PTA students with research. Drop by to meet some of the FPTR-funded researchers who have received the Marquette Challenge award to further their research. The first 150 students will receive a special giveaway item! Currently confirmed for this event is researcher Cory Christiansen, PT, PhD. Christiansen was awarded the 2011 Miami-Marquette Challenge Research Grant. More guests to be announced soon!

APTA is committed to hosting a safe APTA CSM event in San Antonio in February 2022 that is consistent with CDC guidelines. Attendees must have proof of vaccination or a negative test within 72 hours of participation required to receive a registration packet, and masks are required indoors unless speaking at a microphone. For more information on APTA’s policies, visit apta.org.

Our Foundation for Physical Therapy Research (FPTR) annual Donor Networking Reception connects our supporters with FPTR-funded research. This year we’re recognizing our recently funded researchers in addition to our 2022 Service Awardees. This year’s event is in-person and masks will be required. No food or beverages will be served during this networking event.
