CoHSTAR Builds Workshop Momentum With Institutes and Workshops

The Center of Health Services Training and Research (CoHSTAR) was quick to adapt to the many challenges of 2020. CoHSTAR continued the momentum of the popular health services research annual institutes and workshops by pivoting to a virtual format. .

In its sixth year of funding, CoHSTAR held its first virtual HSR Institute on May 11th and May 21st, 2021. This virtual platform included presentations over two days, with keynote speakers for each day. This shift allowed CoHSTAR to increase its audience from 100 attendees to over 500 virtual participants, free-of charge, thanks in part to additional sponsorship from naviHealth.

Attendees further expanded their understanding on how to use implementation science principles to become effective change makers and learned from leaders how to successfully create a learning health care system.

The 2020 HSR Institute is archived and can be accessed on CoHSTAR’s website.

A Glimpse at the 2021 HSR Institute
