The Move Forward 5K/10K is a community outreach event supported and run by Doctor of Physical Therapy students at Regis University in the School of Rehabilitative & Health Sciences to promote physical activity, wellness and to raise funds. Regis proudly participates in the VCA Marquette challenge, a student-led fundraising effort that supports the mission of the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research, which is the only national nonprofit solely dedicated to funding physical therapy research grants and scholarships. Regis also supports Canine Companions who provide service dogs at no cost to adults, children, and veterans with disabilities. Proceeds from the Regis Move Forward event go directly to Regis University, who supports the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research and Canine Companions.
