The Foundation for Physical Therapy Research is proud to honor outstanding leaders in physical therapy with the prestigious 2026 Service Awards. The recipients are recognized for their contributions to the Foundation as well as an ongoing commitment to advance physical therapy research. Awardees will be recognized and celebrated at the Foundation’s Annual Donor Reception held in conjunction with the APTA Combined Sections Meeting 2026 in Anaheim, CA.
The Foundation’s Board of Trustees congratulate the following distinguished recipients:
- Paul A. Rockar Jr., PT, DPT, MS, FAPTA will receive both the 2026 Robert C. Bartlett Trustee Recognition Service Award honoring personal service and commitment as a trustee, and the 2026 Charles M. Magistro Distinguished Service Award in recognition of outstanding service, leadership, and dedication to advancing the Foundation and its mission.
- The Magistro Family Foundation will receive the 2026 Premier Partner in Research Award for generous and longstanding contributions critical to the success of the Foundation and its mission.
