2012-2013 Pittsburgh Marquette Challenge Results

The Foundation for Physical Therapy announced the winners of its 25th annual Marquette Challenge, co-hosted by the University of Pittsburgh, at the “Foundation Gala: Honoring Past and Present Visionaries” on Thursday, June 27. Physical therapist and physical therapist assistant students from 80 schools across the country raised $222,008.58 in support of physical therapy research.

Congratulations to the winners of the Pittsburgh-Marquette Challenge:

1st Place: University of Miami: $28,807.76

2nd Place: University of Pittsburgh : $28,450

3rd Place: New York University : $16,275

Biggest Stretch Schools: Emory University – Increase of $2,888.33 from last year; University of Miami – Increase of $24,307.76 from last year.

Most Creative Fundraiser: The Student Special Interest Group of the Illinois Physical Therapy Association

The 2013-2014 Miami-Marquette Challenge will officially begin at the National Student Conclave in Louisville, Kentucky on October 24, 2013.
